Where the Hell Have You Been, Loca?

 Well then.

I start blogging again and getting more serious about my crafts only to end up pregnant! My brain does this awesome thing where it decides my only purpose is Grow The Fetus and everything else is either too exhausting or just plain repugnant to me. It's frustrating to only have the energy to sit and be nauseous when you really WANT to be crocheting a sweet little baby blanket, or finally cracking open the pattern book that started it all in the first place.

The most frustrating part of all, however, is as soon as you feel you finally have the energy to start making baby things in earnest, your baby dies, and you're back at square one.

I didn't even get the chance to weave in the ends on his receiving blanket.

So here I am, rather suddenly and rudely un-pregnant for the third time in a row, with a pile of things I'm regaining the motivation to start.

I really did love that blanket though, and I think it deserves it's own post alongside my son's story. I don't  have the energy for it right now, but I promise I'll write about them. Ironically enough, yesterday was my daughter's second birthday. She didn't make it, either, and I'm pretty emotionally wrung out from all the grieving.

My projects are what keep me going, to be honest, and I'm excited about ALL OF THEM, so it's hard to narrow down exactly what I want to start on and what I want to talk about. The cool thing about having a blog that is virtually unknown is I get to post about anything I want, as often as I want, since I don't have to bother with any pesky sponsorships. In an effort to be a bit more coherent though, I'm going to attempt to make a loose post schedule. Let's try this on for size, shall we?

This evening, I'll post again with an idea of the projects I want to work on through the week. If I finish any of them, I'll try to post that same day. Regardless, Wednesdays will be to chat about my pattern books. Why did I buy them, what I'm hoping to learn, what I'm excited about, etc. because I love my books and I want to share the love.

So far, that's Sunday and Wednesday spoken for. Let's try for a Friday post, too. This Friday I'll discuss my plans for fall and winter! I've got a list put together of wardrobe pieces I'd like to make, and hopefully by Friday I'll have a schedule for when I'll work on them. I want to be really intentional about building a handmade wardrobe, and reigning it in at least a little bit. If I had the time and attention span, I'd devote all of it to making cool things for myself, but I don't, so direction is needed.

I'm also hoping to write about my little boy, so I'll try to have that out by Tuesday. He really was the most beautiful baby, friends. It's so unfair that I don't get to brag about him as he grows.

I'll see you in a few hours with a game plan!
